Many adults with ADHD describe emotions that feel bigger or quicker to arrive than they’d like — frustration that escalates fast, or a sharp sting from criticism, real or perceived, sometimes called rejection sensitivity. This is skills-based support for exactly that.
Not sure where to start? Call us and we’ll match you with the right plan.
Who it’s for:
- Anyone whose emotional reactions feel disproportionate to what triggered them, especially where it’s affecting relationships or work.
What a session involves:
- 50-minute remote sessions, 1:1 or in a small group depending on what’s running. Sessions teach specific, practised skills — noticing the build-up, naming what’s happening, having a planned response ready before the moment arrives — rather than open-ended talking.
How it helps:
- Having concrete, rehearsed skills tends to make more difference here than simply “trying to stay calm.” The goal is fewer regretted reactions, not suppressing how you feel.
Who delivers it:
- A qualified therapist or trained practitioner experienced in emotional-regulation skills work.
